All about me
People keep asking for the short version. Here it is.
Me
- ✦Stanisław Cichy. Everyone calls me Staś.
- ✦Born 5 June 2012 in Kluczbork. I live in Szczecin now.
- ✦14, but I look about 9. Black hair, amber eyes (orange, not hazel).
- ✦No vocal folds, so no voice. My hearing is completely fine.
- ✦I talk with a speech-generating tablet that has a donated voice. Or I write or sign.
Family
- ✦Foster care from 2017. Adopted in 2024.
- ✦Thirteen of us at home, including my twin sister.
- ✦Most of us are autistic. Most of us are loud. I'm not one of the loud ones.
- ✦I picked the surname Cichy myself, after my mum remarried.
- ✦We have cats.
Health
- ✦No vocal folds since birth.
- ✦Autistic. One part of me, not all of me.
- ✦Hypopituitarism. That's why I'm small.
- ✦Non-24. My body clock doesn't do 24-hour days.
- ✦C-PTSD, anxiety and depression. Each has its own page.
Mind
- ✦WISC-V full scale IQ 142. Verbal comprehension 155.
- ✦EQ-i:YV total 118. Empathy 132.
- ✦Stress tolerance 84. So, yes, I'm working on that.
Work
- ✦I write poems and short pieces at A Boy In Letters.
- ✦I model for editorial and campaign shoots. Always with a contract and a chaperone.
- ✦Photos only on request. I'm a minor, and I've had harassment.
- ✦Later I want to study law.
Things I like
- ✦Foxes. Used to be wolves.
- ✦Drawing, poetry and languages.
- ✦History and arguments with actual evidence.
- ✦Quiet. And viridian green.
